The extension saves visible chats, public page URLs, and selected page content as documents in your repository, where search and every connected AI tool can reach them.

Four steps to your first capture. From install to saved chat.
Step 01
Install the extension
Add Context Repo from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it from the puzzle-piece menu so the icon stays in your toolbar.
Step 02
Create an API key
In Settings, under API Keys, create a key with Write on Documents & Collections. The full key is shown once, so copy it.
Step 03
Connect the popup
Click the toolbar icon, or press Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows and Linux. Paste the gm_ key and press Connect.
Step 04
Make your first capture
Open a ChatGPT or Claude conversation and choose Save this chat. The confirmation links to the new document.
Your questions, answered.
It ships three capture flows. Save this chat extracts the visible conversation on chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, and claude.ai as role-tagged Markdown. Pick element captures selected content from supported pages. Capture this page sends an ordinary HTTP(S) page URL to a Firecrawl-powered pipeline.
chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, and claude.ai. The extension extracts every turn in document order, role-tagged as You / ChatGPT or Claude, with the source URL, captured timestamp, and provider in the document front-matter. Streaming responses are detected so the save button waits until the assistant has finished responding.
Install from the Chrome Web Store, generate a documents.write API key from your Context Repo dashboard, and paste it into the extension popup. The key is stored in chrome.storage.sync and sent with authenticated requests to the Context Repo API.
The Chrome Extension is included during the 7-day Pro or Pro Max trial and on every paid plan. Install it from the Chrome Web Store, then connect it to your Context Repo account with a documents.write API key.
Capture this page runs through Context Repo's Firecrawl-backed scrape endpoint and is included with Pro Max and Ultimate. Save this chat and Pick element work on every plan.
Firecrawl cannot use your browser's signed-in session, and Chrome blocks extensions on internal pages such as chrome://. On an ordinary HTTP(S) page that you can see but Firecrawl cannot reach, use Pick element. ChatGPT and Claude conversations should use Save this chat.
